The Le Mille e Una Rete association was born in March 2020, with the primary objective of building and promoting networks between people, in order to study and experiment with collective solutions to common problems and difficulties. Its activity Students4Students is a free online tutoring service by volunteer university students, which has several objectives:
- Support students with special educational needs in their studies
- Support teachers and families
- Involve a large number of young people in active and training volunteering, who will have the possibility of obtaining university training credits from their UniFi UniPi UniSi UniStraSi Unicollege study course, where approved.
Start date
The project starts in October and ends in May/mid-June.
Offer valid until
It is possible to send applications throughout the year.
Tasks of the volunteer
Go online for a minimum of two hours a week to get to know a fragile boy/girl reported by the school and establish a positive relationship of educational but above all human support.
When do the activities take place?
From November to the end of May/mid-June. Minimum of 2 hours per week. The tutor communicates to the children’s family his/her availability times, in the afternoon during the week, or when he/she prefers at the weekend.
Where?
Both training and tutoring are done online.
What are the requirements to participate?
Minimum age: To participate in the program you must be at least 18 years old on the program start date.
Time commitment: A commitment of two hours per week is required.
Language skills: Native Italian or with a C2 level.
Education level: University students.
