The Cibrèo restaurant in Florence is an institution. Recently passed away, historic Chef (and a bit of a philosopher!) Fabio Picchi was an icon in the Sant’Ambrogio district and beyond! There, in 1979, he began to found a small empire of gastronomy, made up of traditional cuisine that follows the pace of the seasons and various restaurants, each with its own format: the Cibrèo Trattoria next to the main restaurant; the Teatro del Sale where you eat while enjoying entertaining shows; the Ciblèo, a very small Tuscan-Oriental bistro.
Specifically, the Circolo Teatro del Sale was born in 2003 from an idea of Maria Cassi, artistic director and wife of Fabio Picchi. By combining their skills and inspirations, they have created a place of sociality and a multifaceted meeting place among the most loved and appreciated in Florence. The Circo-lo Teatro del Sale is a theatre, a cultural club, a meeting place for those who love to reflect on passions, music, shows and food.
